A Guide To Costco Best Split King Adjustable Bed Bundle: Read More

A split king adjustable bed bundle can combine two Twin XL mattresses with two independently adjustable bases, allowing each side of the bed to be positioned separately. Costco currently lists several mattress and adjustable-base combinations, including options from Tempur-Pedic, GhostBed, Sleep Science, and Novaform.

How A Split King Adjustable Bed Works

A split king configuration typically consists of two Twin XL mattresses placed side by side. Each mattress rests on its own adjustable base, allowing the two sides to move independently. Costco describes this arrangement as useful for couples who have different comfort or positioning preferences.

When comparing a bundle, check whether it includes:

  • Two Twin XL mattresses
  • Two adjustable power bases
  • Wireless remotes
  • Power cords and required hardware
  • Mattress covers or other accessories
  • Setup or delivery services

For example, Costco's current GhostBed Luxe 14-inch option includes two Twin XL mattresses and two Twin XL adjustable power bases in the Split King configuration.

What Features Should You Compare

Adjustable bed bundles can differ significantly in both mattress construction and base features. Consider the functions you are most likely to use rather than choosing based only on mattress thickness or brand.

Useful features can include:

  • Independent head and foot elevation
  • Zero-gravity presets
  • Wireless remote controls
  • USB charging ports
  • Massage settings
  • Under-bed lighting
  • Zero-clearance compatibility
  • Programmable positions

Costco's Sleep Science Q-Series adjustable base, for example, offers programmable memory buttons, a zero-gravity preset, USB connectivity, and multiple head and foot positions.

How To Compare Mattress Types

The mattress is just as important as the adjustable base. Memory foam, latex, and hybrid mattresses can feel quite different and may have different levels of flexibility.

Costco currently lists several compatible options, including memory foam and hybrid models. Its Sleep Science Solara 14-inch model combines memory foam with pocketed coils, while other options use all-foam construction.

Compare:

  • Mattress firmness
  • Foam or hybrid construction
  • Cooling features
  • Pressure-relief characteristics
  • Edge support
  • Mattress thickness
  • Adjustable-base compatibility

Always confirm that the specific mattress is designed to work with an adjustable base.

Tips For Choosing The Right Bundle

Before deciding on a split king adjustable bed bundle, consider your bedroom, sleeping preferences, and how frequently you expect to use the adjustable functions.

Check:

  • Dimensions: A standard split king uses two Twin XL mattresses.
  • Base height: Make sure the total mattress and base height works with existing furniture.
  • Bed-frame compatibility: Some bases can fit inside an existing bed frame.
  • Controls: Check whether each side has its own remote.
  • Delivery: Review whether setup is included or offered separately.
  • Warranty: Compare mattress and adjustable-base warranty terms.
  • Return policy: Review the current terms before purchasing.

Costco's product listings show that delivery and setup arrangements vary between models. Some bundles include setup and haul-away, while others provide doorstep delivery with setup available separately.

How To Check Current Costco Options

Costco's online adjustable-bed selection can change, so checking the current product specifications is important. Its king mattress section currently includes adjustable-compatible mattresses and complete mattress-and-base sets.

Before making a decision:

  • Compare the current models
  • Check Split King availability
  • Review mattress specifications
  • Confirm what the bundle includes
  • Check delivery details
  • Review warranty information
  • Consider the available adjustment features
