Currys Is Offering Black Friday Deals On 65-Inch TVs, giving shoppers an opportunity to upgrade their home entertainment setup before the holiday season. With discounts on selected OLED, QLED and 4K televisions, the retailer’s 2026 sale is worth exploring for anyone looking for a bigger screen and better picture quality.
Black Friday is one of the most anticipated shopping periods for television buyers, and Currys has launched its 2026 sale with offers across several technology categories. Its TV promotion includes selected models from major brands, with discounts advertised on LG OLED televisions and other home entertainment products.
The retailer’s Black Friday page also features selected LG OLED TV savings of up to £400, with advertised prices starting from £799. However, these discounts apply to selected products and do not mean every 65-inch television is available at the same price.
Shoppers interested in a larger screen should check the product listing carefully to confirm the screen size, model number, current price and availability before placing an order.

A 65-inch television can make a noticeable difference to a living room or dedicated entertainment space. Its larger display gives films, sports, television programmes and video games more room to shine.
For households that regularly stream movies or watch live sports, upgrading to a 65-inch model may provide a more immersive viewing experience. It can also be a practical option for people who want a large screen without moving to an especially expensive 75-inch or 85-inch television.
Before choosing one, consider the room size and viewing distance. A large television may not be the best fit for a small room where viewers sit very close to the screen. Measuring the available wall or cabinet space can also help prevent installation problems.
Currys sells televisions from well-known manufacturers, including LG, Samsung, Sony and other brands. Its Black Friday listings can include different display technologies and specifications, so comparing the type of screen is important.
OLED televisions are popular with film enthusiasts because each pixel produces its own light. This allows OLED screens to display deep blacks and strong contrast, which can make dark movie scenes look more detailed.
Selected LG OLED televisions are included in Currys' 2026 Black Friday promotion. The retailer advertises savings of up to £400 on selected LG OLED models, although shoppers should check whether a particular 65-inch model is included.
QLED televisions use quantum-dot technology to produce vivid colours and bright images. They may appeal to households that watch television in brighter rooms or enjoy colourful sports and entertainment content.
The exact brightness, refresh rate and picture-processing features vary between models. Comparing specifications is more useful than choosing a television based only on its QLED label.
A 4K television has a resolution of 3,840 × 2,160 pixels. This provides four times as many pixels as a Full HD display and can deliver sharper images when watching suitable 4K content.
Many modern 4K smart TVs also include streaming applications, voice controls and wireless connectivity. Check the operating system and supported apps if you regularly use services such as Netflix, Disney+ or BBC iPlayer.
A discounted television is not automatically the right purchase. Comparing important features can help shoppers choose a model that suits their viewing habits.
Picture quality: Look at the display technology, HDR support, brightness and contrast. OLED, QLED and LED televisions can deliver different viewing experiences.
Refresh rate: People who watch fast-moving sports or play video games may prefer a television with a higher refresh rate. Check the manufacturer's stated native refresh rate rather than relying only on marketing descriptions.
HDMI connections: Review the number and type of HDMI ports. HDMI 2.1 support may be useful for compatible gaming consoles and devices that use advanced gaming features.
Smart TV platform: Make sure the television supports the streaming services and applications you use most often.
Sound quality: Thin televisions may have limited built-in speaker performance. If audio matters to you, compare speaker specifications or consider whether a compatible soundbar would be a useful addition.
Warranty and returns: Read Currys' current warranty, delivery and returns information before ordering. Keep the order confirmation and check the conditions that apply to your purchase.
Finding a genuine bargain requires more than looking at a large percentage discount. Shoppers can use a few simple steps to compare offers.
First, visit the Currys Black Friday page and open the television category. Filter the available products by screen size, selecting 65 inches where that option is available.
Next, compare the current selling price with the television's previous or recommended price. It is also worth checking the exact model number because televisions with similar names can have different specifications.
Read the product description and customer reviews before making a decision. Pay attention to picture quality, sound, ease of use and any comments about the smart TV interface.
Finally, compare the shortlisted model with prices at other established retailers. A television advertised with a substantial discount may not be the cheapest option available elsewhere.
Currys also promotes its free Perks membership during the 2026 sale. The retailer says members can access exclusive discounts, priority access and entry into a £500 gift card prize draw, subject to the promotion's terms.
These benefits may make it worthwhile for regular Currys shoppers to review the membership offer before purchasing a television. However, Perks membership does not guarantee an additional discount on every 65-inch TV.
Read the offer conditions and confirm whether the product you want qualifies for any member-exclusive saving.
A 65-inch television is a large item, so delivery arrangements are an important part of the buying process. Currys lists separate delivery options and charges for large products, including televisions over 43 inches.
The available delivery dates, time slots and prices can depend on the product and delivery address. Some eligible products may also be available through Currys' Order & Collect service.
Before completing checkout, confirm the delivery charge, estimated arrival date and whether someone will need to be available to receive the television. Check that the product can be moved through your doorway, stairs and intended installation area.
Black Friday stock can change quickly. A model that appears available when you first view it may sell out before checkout, so shoppers should verify availability on the product page.
Currys' Black Friday sale gives television shoppers a useful opportunity to compare selected models and look for seasonal savings. The retailer's advertised LG OLED discounts make the event worth checking, particularly for buyers considering a premium television.
However, the best purchase depends on the actual model, final price and features. A lower-priced 65-inch LED television may be a better fit for everyday viewing, while an OLED or QLED model could be more suitable for shoppers who prioritise picture quality.
It is also sensible to compare the total cost, including delivery and any accessories. A soundbar, wall mount or extended service plan may increase the final amount.
Currys Is Offering Black Friday Deals On 65-Inch TVs, making its 2026 sale a useful destination for shoppers planning a home entertainment upgrade. With selected television discounts, including advertised savings on LG OLED models, buyers have several options to investigate.
The smartest approach is to compare screen technology, specifications, model numbers and prices before choosing. Check the official Currys website for current stock and offer conditions, as Black Friday discounts can change throughout the event.
