Subhas Chandra Bose was a charismatic leader who believed in armed resistance against British rule. Disenchanted with the Congress' non-violent approach, he formed the Forward Bloc and later led the Indian National Army (INA). With Japanese support during World War II, he sought to liberate India by force.
His famous slogan, “Give me blood, and I will give you freedom,” inspired many. Although the INA didn’t achieve military success, it sparked nationalist fervor and influenced the British decision to quit India post-war.
