First, ensure the area is safe for you and the victim. Then, check if the person is breathing normally. If they are unconscious but breathing, do not shake them. Instead, place them in the recovery position—on their side with the head tilted back slightly—to keep the airway open and prevent choking.
Monitor their breathing and stay with them until emergency services arrive. If there are any signs of injury like bleeding or fractures, avoid moving them unnecessarily. Always call for help immediately, as unconsciousness can be a sign of serious medical conditions.
